Ellie graduated with her MSW at the University  in August, 2024, successfully completing the Child Welfare Scholar program.
Additionally, she had her second first-authored paper published in May! The study explored factors related to emerging adults’ perceptions of access, use and sufficiency of mental health resources (MHR) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study found that emerging adults who reported reduced or eliminated access to MHR during the pandemic were likely to have experienced at least one change in residence. Reduced or eliminated access to MHR and higher levels of depression accounted for the greatest variance in MHR Sufficiency.
